  1. Hi Helen,

My name is Paul and I’m a screenwriter from the Wirral, just across the River Mersey from Liverpool. I love your novel, NEW BRIGHTON, and, funnily enough, purchased my copy from a charity shop in…New Brighton, which is just down the road from where I live. I inhaled it in two sittings and really loved it.

It is a super cinematic novel, and I couldn’t help but SEE how incredibly the story could unfold on the small screen, which is why I am reaching out to you today. Is this something you would be interested in discussing? If so, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Best wishes,

    Paul.

    1. Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch! And thanks for feedback. I am currently on the ferry from Athens to Naxos and that is also very cinematic. I would love to chat further. When writing, it was always extremely visual to me and agree it would work well. Happy to chat 🙂
